Better than a Standard Flashlight Feb 14, 2010

This clamp light is great. I live in a heavily-wooded rural area in the south that is subject to severe storms that often knock out electricity for hours. Last week, we lost power because of snow and ice. Flashlights work, of course, but they only light a small area and the quality of the light is usually not very good. Candles work as long as you don't have cats, kids, or klutzes around. This clamp light was wonderful. This single light will light an entire small room, and the light is bright enough to read by. It is sturdy, and the ability to clamp it almost anywhere is a huge help. If you are looking for an excellent-quality emergency light, this is the one.

Great work light. Build quality is good and light is ample for night work. Easy to use and position. Not sure about battery life as I've only had it about a week.

Hands down, this light is the best all-around hands free utility light I have ever owned without an extension cord. Simple, light, bright enough and just works I also bought one for my Dad recently and he called to say that this was indeed the best utility light he's ever owned.
