I am very happy with the operation of this tool. It is powerful and the 90 degree head helps to get into those tight places that a straight handle screwdriver can't reach. The battery last for a long time. The charger works fast too. This tool can help greatly shorten your working time.

Ok, I AM a tool junky. I figured I would find lots of uses for this driver for limited clearance, but, I rarely use it. To be fair I bought it partially for the batteries since I got 2 of their cordless die grinders from Canada (not in USA at that time) which I use frequently.
The new 18 volt Lithium-Ion "blue" line of tools seen to be superior to all the the previous models Makita has offered. Got to get those 3 amp batteries if you are going to use a tool hard. If you have a use for a right angle impact driver, this could be your tool. It is still difficult to apply force into fastener with this design in tight areas. If there was an auxiliary handle, it might make this tool more usable for me.
2 tips to remember about cordless tools. First, don't leave your battery in the charger after it is charged. It will wear out faster. Next, take the battery out of the tool. It still discharges more in the tool than out.
