Strong magnets Dec 10, 2008
By J. Vik I've gone through a few of these lately looking for one with a good magnet. I install car radios and dropping screws is such a pain and time waster. My Black and Decker tip holder and my Dewalt tip holder don't do a very good job, and the sleeves tend to slip down a lot. I got these and the magnet is so strong it even affects my nut drivers some, saving me from having to go buy really expensive magnetic sockets. It pulls bits in hard also so they don't get pulled out when you're in the middle of a job. If you have a Makita drill go ahead and drop the money on these. My 9.6v Makita drill's chuck is pretty shallow, so these fit much better than other brands or no name ones that come with bit sets.

By Mike What I Really Needed Istalling Cabinets Was the 3 1/8 Holder.
Both Are Nice With Sleeves That Don't Spin With The Holder.

great & Reliable tool Feb 24, 2009

These are fantastic and work great, they are everything I expect from a makita product. It's great having two now that I use multiple guns and don't have to switch them all the time, and the different lengths are helpful as well.

Does the job Sep 02, 2010
By Kent The 2 finder/drivers that come this package are great. Makes driving screws with a drill much easier as it guides the screw and the bit together. The magnet is a good addition, it's almost like a helping hand on certain jobs.
