This gun has plenty of torque for sheet rock as well as other wood screw jobs. The 50 foot cord is a great feature instead of looking for receptacles or using extension cords. Yes, it can get tangled, but you can do a whole room without having to stop and move to a new receptacle.

At first I thought this Drywall Screwdriver might not be worth trying because of the 2-star single rating. However, after reading the single review I noticed it was really a 5-star rating and the reviewer had trouble with the star selection. Plus, I felt with my previous experience with Makita that it would probably be okay. So, I ordered the Makita 6824NA and received it promptly. I tried it out with several sheetrock screws into an unfinished sheetrock wall in my basement and was very impressed. It is easy to dial in the desired depth setting and repeats correctly and rapidly each time afterward. It is comfortable and well designed to work in your hand. At first the 50' cord seems bulky but in nearly every case I am going to have to use an extension cord anyway. Also, if I later decide 50' is too long then I will shorten the cord to where I want it to be and install a new plug. Overall, I am impressed the Makita and pleased with my purchase - especially with the price on Amazon!
